Trualloy coating vs epoxy coating

I have trolling the forum for years... I finally have my own 28x40 garage out back. My next step is to put a coating on the floor.

I've read the one review on the garage flooring website and it sounds good. For the price it almost seems to good... Does anyone else have experience with this coating? Will it hold up like an epoxy coating? It seems very easy for application. I do plan on renting a floor grinder soon and hope to put something down in a month or so.

My plans for the garage are woodworking and hobby mechanic. I have a 74 duster and 85 ram to work on. I will eventually put a lift in also. Main reason for the coating is to look good and oil resistant. I know there are going to be oil leaks and spills...

Thanks for any input and help!

I've seen a couple posts on this board the last several months about the Tru Alloy and the reviews have been good. I know it's a one part product so it should be real easy to use but don't know a lot about it.

This type of coating would make an excellent choice for your needs. The data sheet info speaks for itself. That is how you should judge / compare coating performance. It's not the first choice for most people in terms of describing it as a decorative coating. It has more of utilitarian look. However, beauty is in the eye beholder :) Sometimes that look goes real well for a working garage.

Thanks for the replies. I know it is fairly new, so not much information, but everything sounds good on it. I am totally ok with the utilitarian look, i don't necessarily need the fancy full spec epoxy floor for my use. I think it will look good and looks easy to apply. Just need to set aside a full day at least for grind at least, then once dry another full day to apply the coating. I don't have much in the garage at this point, so can leave it empty for a bit as I do the coating... Dry time sounds important also.
