with the left overs of the basic construction / demolition involved in my garage extension (8 year itch) i slapped together a preliminary storage cart for my canopy. i want to make it out of steel when i get to the design i want. one of the main features will be so i can pull some pins and it will collapse flat like scaffolding.
here's a few pix of the cart 1.1
this is a full size canopy off my CTD
the whole thing is on casters so i can move it around. ideally it would have locking casters but these were out of my scrap pile. a later version will have locking casters on one end and fixed wheels on the other.
there is a lip inside where i can store my bed rails when i am not using them
i decked the top with plywood i pulled off the old wall that seperated old from new sections in my gagage. makes for some drier storage when the canopy is off as well as below too...
have some plastic pipe laying around and used one stick under the rear of the canopy and just walked it right onto the cart. this is after i scooted the canopy back a couple feet first.
the deck of the cart is the same as the bed height..
with my limited space in this area and no where else to put the canopy, it is nice to be able to wheel the cart out of the way for whatever reason...
