Need another way to control the slushy mess and am looking at containment mats.

Anyone have any experience comparing Autofloorgaurd to Trucontain? I can get the 8'6"x20' for the autofloorgaurd for $217 on Amazon. The closest trucontain (9'x20') is $270. I missed the BF sale so unless that comes around again, I would need convincing to spend more on the Trucontain mat - anyone have any thoughts on how they compare?

I've had the opportunity to evaluate both and they are good containment mats. The Auto Floor Guard mat was our favorite until the TruContain mat was released. The main difference is that the TruContain is made of slightly thicker scrim fabric and the welded seams are on the back side instead of the side the car drives on in order to provide better protection.

Check with Justin from Garage Flooring LLC about the TruContain mats. I know he offers discounts to GJ members. Here is a link:

Also... I forgot to mention that the dark gray color of the TruContain mat has a more refined look than the black AutoFloor Guard mat.

I just convinced myself that winter is over and put my TruContain mats away for the warm months (thus guaranteeing several more weeks of winter). They worked great over the winter and my garage has been much more pleasant.

As I cleaned them and put them away, I noticed a tear (1/2"). Any advice to patch it?

TearAid is one option or send it back to me and I will send you another one free of charge. I can send you the TearAid if you prefer. Just PM me name and address
