I have seen Truecraft tools that were "Made in USA". (Mostly sockets) I remember buying two U.S. made Truecraft pullers around 10 years ago. The Truecraft ratchets I remember were made in Japan. The Japanese ratchets were basically Craftsman clones.

Indeed. A friend loaned me this ratchet recently when I needed some tools right after I'd cleaned *everything* out of the car. Handle is a dead ringer for a CM RP handle....

I have a TRUECRAFT 31614 Cr-V 7/16" 3/8"drive socket.
It is stamped "JAPAN".
Does it have a warranty?
Is the warranty still being honored?
If so, how?

If anyone loves them, I am willing to sell it.

I have a set of their 1/2 dr metric sockets. They're USA made 12 pt, and I rounded out one of the smaller ones. The larger sizes held up well. I used them on tractors and equipment until I bought a 6 pt Tekton set.

I am not sure what you are referring to by "Larger Sets".

This is a 1/2" drive set (or what remains of it) that my late step-father gave to me 25 years ago. The holes have been filled with Craftsman. The ratchet is a Kilness-patent Husky. This is my tear-down set for rusty greasy mowers.

This is an NOS 1/4" hex drive ratcheting bit and socket driver set. U.S. made Truecraft, manufactured prior to the acquistion by Daido Corp. The **** end of the handle swivels around, but does not come off - the bits are NOT stored in the handle.



There is a large set of 1/2" drive SAE sockets with drive tools currently listed on ebay, but he's about $50 bucks too high on his asking price.
