Finished installing TrueLock PVC (heavy flexible 1/4” thick) tiles in my renovated 23x29 carriage house. Expensive, but fairly waterproof and no visible interlock teeth in the seams. Takes longer than knock together rigid or flexible teeth connector tiles. No clatter when walking on it. Took a full day — lots of cutting due to the unsquare old building. Working on assembling the Bendpak HD-9XW next.

What's the texture like? Smooth? Or does it have bumps on it like racedeck?

I chose the coin pattern. Not sure what else is available.

It’s an expensive tile due to the waterproof concealed interlock. About $6 per SF.

If you would be happy with lightweight hard plastic tiles, there are more to choose from and you can get them for as little as about $2 per SF.

Where did you buy them?

New Age Pro 3.0. I bought before the tariffs increased prices. Bought from the new age retailer who is on the forums here — his prices were as good as any I found. I have space for one more 5 drawer base and 1 more tall locker if I need them but will first use the upstairs for storage. I put together the Bendpak HD-9XW and it is working now. Probably should have gotten the short model but I work on my cars and wanted the most access underneath as possible with a reasonably sized 4 post and the wide and long bendpak seemed best.

Looks great. I finally got my floor epoxied and will be installing the same cabinets this weekend. Did you try wall mounting any of the tall or bottom cabinets? I need to wall mount all mine and beefed up the double stud wall with tie plates. Hoping the weight holds.

All cabinets that go to the floor are on the floor on casters. Only the wall mount cabinets over the bench are hanging from the wall. The cabinets come with hardware for all options. The hanging brackets are sized for a 2x4 stud and work great but your studs may not be spaced for three 28” cabinets in a row. Fortunately the cabinets bolt to each other and to the lockers so you don’t need to use 6 hangers unless you are going to put really heavy stuff in them. If you got one hanger into each over the counter cabinet that should be fine.

You can also provide support from underneath by screwing a 2x2 or 2x3 or 2x4 into 13’ of studs and resting the locker and lower cabinet bases on them. To supplement the hanging brackets.

I’ll post an updated picture with the assembled lift once I get the place cleaned up and organized. It has turned out pretty good. I got a lot of ideas and learned a lot reading the forums here.

Looks great! Any reason you chose stainless for one counter and butcher block for the other? Trying to make that decision for myself.

The counter in front of the lift might get greasy car parts in it. SS will clean easier.
