Is the brand “Stock Wire “a trusted brand of wire or is it some knockoff? I’m looking to run some 6-3 nm in my garage for a possible future Ev charger while the walls are open. Amazon has some good prices on this compared to the local box stores.

Most Electricians, in my experience, regard wire as a commodity and are more concerned with who they buy it from than they are with who made it.

Strip enough wire and you'll learn that they are not all equal in construction. "Stock Wire" sounds like a "Southwire" knock off.
Make sure "Stock Wire" meets the same UL requirements as name brands. (Read the jacket printing.) That would be my first qualifier.
Amazon is a little sleazy with some of their product offerings appearing to be equivalent (but only leads you to make that assumption.)
How it strips, pulls, easily tears, damages with staples, bored holes is the buyer-beware learning experience! How much will you save if it is **** wire and you need to buy a replacement/possibly install again?

stock wire sounds like a mistake in that someone just posted wire they had in stock
