Any Indy car enthusiasts in the land of the Garage Journal forum? We’re getting all revved up for the Indianapolis 500, and we’re convinced that having another drawing for the Garage Journal forum is appropriate for the 100th running of the greatest spectacle in racing (sorry NASCAR and Formula 1 fans).

To enter the drawing, you will need to answer a couple of simple questions: if you could have only one hammer in your toolbox or shop, which hammer would it be? And why? Please send a PM to me with your answers, and you will be entered in the drawing. Include your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Indy 500 finishers in the PM, and you could win additional prizes.

The prizes are as follows:

1st Place: 1 flat-flat, 1 ball peen, 1 standard head, and 1 slim-line head—one model of your choice from each category.
2nd Place: 3 total hammers, from three different model types
3rd place: 2 total hammers, from two different model types

Have the correct winner and get drawn for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, and you can add a sledge hammer to your winnings. Have the top three finishers in the correct order and get drawn for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, and you will receive a full set of hammers.

All submissions must come before the start of the race, and the drawing for the winners will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016. This contest is only for the lower 48 states.

Drivers, start your engines—good luck everybody!

Haha! Obviously the winner will be Turbo. The NOS powered slug. No one else has a chance.

I've been getting some great feedback on go-to hammers. Feel free to keep the PMs coming through the weekend. I will hold the drawing Tuesday morning and announce the winners on the site.

I hope everybody gets to enjoy the holiday weekend.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Well my picks bit. Not even close. If you picked the winner of that race I hope you put a dollar down and retire.

Thanks for participating in our most recent drawing. Nobody had the correct winner or the correct first through third place finishers. We nonetheless have three winners in the drawing.

Wow! Awesome to see my username up there. These are my first TC hammers so I'm excited to try them out.

Thanks Richard and TC for the generosity!
