The only reason I didn't jump on the blues ones (other then finding out about them too late) is because they won't be a regularly stocked item. I'm not interested in limited run stuff because I want to know if I need to add or replace one later on, I can get one that matches what I already have.

I have 3 04 4 of your deadblows labeled Estwing and I love them but I'm not sure why those are not blue? All their other stuff is blue so it would be a natural fit! My tool box is blue and my other hammers are Estwing and Vaughn which are also blue and seeing how I do have mild OCD, I'd love to replace my current deadblows with blue ones but I won't unless they become a standard option.

Just my $.02

If you want a green Trusty Cook dead blow, look no further than Matco. I assume Trusty Cook can't do the same green due to their agreement with Matco. I saw them when I toured the Trusty Cook factory a few years ago, and they are cool.

I missed the blue offering. I have several of the Trusty's in red, but would have loved the blue. White or grey...nah.

I would be interested in the white handles... they would go well with my white box and white hard handled screwdrivers....

Wish I hadn't missed the blue ones, would have certainly purchased .. I'd be in interested in a white one... more of a novelty than for a practical use (get dirty quick), but I could see where they might be useful in clean room environments. I cannot wait for the mini b/p..

Yup, it is a shorter-handled ball peen with a heavier head. We're finding there is demand for tools that have a little more oomph for tight spaces. We're also going to be offering a new sledge soon. The sledge has a Model #7 handle with a Model #14 head. We'd sold 4,000 of these bashers several years ago under a private label. Max force in tight quarters is on the way! Note--ball peen is still in development.

Can you give any more info on that ball peen? After this latest 30% sale the only Trusty Cook ball peen I dont have is the TCBP40 because of the handle length. I find typically when I need a BFH it's also it a tight space location. Any chance of making a line a shorty ball peens with heavier head weights?

Are multiple colors (like a swirl) possible? THAT would be really cool.

I would buy several. Or maybe dump red/white/blue in at once, and make a random swirl effect. Good for the GJ USA crowd, and cool in general.

EDIT: White is very cool. If made available, I'd probably hold off buying a dead blow or two until they came out.

Nice! My most used hammer is a small engineers hammer with a cut down handle. I'd be adding this to the top of the list of hammers to buy from ya'll. I like the mini sledge too. I could easily see using it.

I can't wait to pick up the new hammers when they're out of development! I plan on purchasing the remaining dead blows I'm missing and a sledge shortly

The prototype ball peen has a 32 ounce head and an overall weight of 2.70 pounds. I've attached a "before" picture. Who wants to see the "after" photo?

Any idea on when there might be another run of the blue handles??

And if they were able to offer green at some point, I'd be in for those as well.

I love those ol original Econoline Fords.. We had our first "van" or should I say "mini van" when I was a kid.. it was a a 1964 version I believe (I'll need to confirm with my mom to be sure), that my dad purchased from Ziker's Cleaners in South Bend when he was working / painting there.. I remember the 7 of us packing into that van. My "seat" was the driver side rear wheel well bump, my two younger brothers (maybe 2 and 3 at the time) sat on the engine cover... Ah back in the days before seat belt laws...

I'd love to see the after pictures.. maybe here on GJ and in person one of these days..

The red is the before picture and the white is the after picture. The red on white on the vehicle looks as good as the red on white on our hammers. Don't you agree?

I hate to tell everybody, but a HUGE company that needs heavy duty hammers to work on their turbines, loves the white hammers. We have a line of three hammers that we call Buddy Blasters, named after the late Buddy Trusty. These hammers are nearly indestructible. This large company came to us because they were using other dead blow hammers and were ending up with shot in their turbines. We told them they needed something even beyond our standard hammers, so we engineered the buddy blaster for them. End of shot problems in the turbines--and the birth of our white line of hammers. Sorry, these hammers are not available to the general public, and are extremely pricey. But keep your eyes open for an upcoming promo...we love to get our products in the hands of our loyal customers.
