trusty-Cook hammers

i am wondering anyone have opinions or has those to use???

i am plan to have my father to stop by there to buy me a 192OZ 36in length sledge hammer for my work as i had contact the Trusty-Cook hammer company that requested for what time of business on week, they said 9am to 3pm... it is out of question for me to go there myself BUT my Father told me he will stop by there to get it for me... that trusty-cook store located on 59th east street which only like 6 miles away from my parent's home...

i was surpruised that trusty-cook sell it for 139.95 dollars for 192OZ hammer while mac tools sell 14lbs for 245 dollars, snap on sell 11.9 lbs for 257 dollars...

Update that i did had my father to stopped by there before went to home, my father got Trusty-cook soft sledge hammer for me..

yeah! i am going use it to break loose the sticky RIMS on F-series as either F-150 to F750!!! lot of fleet trucks has F-250, 350, 450, 550 that sometime fleet business keep delaying on tire rotates which cause rust or corroded building inside that cause rims stuck on... i had Mac tool soft sledge as 6lbs , i has beat it a lot and it work but i am tired of keep hammering it a lot so i decided to got this beast hammer!!! i will see how it will do at my work.. NOBODY has one at work!

I have one 24oz. ball peen. I love it -Best hammer ever.Better than snapon. or mac.

These are good stuff. I have a 24 oz "dead blow" ballpeen for maybe three years, it is top quality and has endured all kinds of abuse. A really first class brand and item.

TC definitely OEM for Cornwell and Matco and some folks suspect they make SO deadblows too. Yeah the TC branded hammers are a good bit cheaper than truck ones but only have a 1 year warranty. If you never need to warranty that hammer you'll come out ahead.............

yeah that what i suspected about OEM... i am not worry about warranty because it is NOT need for EVERY minutes to beat it up.... maybe need it for few times per week... so i will be fine...

one tech at my work are diesel tech, he has one trusty-cook hammer that similar with my mac CH60 but he said he got it for longer time ago, even it still strong and work good...

i has mac tool CH60, i use it a lot for break rims loose, rotors, and etc... it look like lot wears but still strong. BUT i just felt i need longer lever to make easier than hit so hard...

old techs told me to be smart and not work too hard...

Trust me on this one, the Mac one has a life time warrenty (don't know about the Snap-on) there is a differance between the cheap ones and the tool truck guys. If your only going to use it once and a while get the cheep one.....

I believe the Mac and Snap-on ones are Trusty Cooke....
