I contacted Richard at Trusty-Cook and told him I would be coming out that way for the Indy 500 and I would like to stop by and see their operation and purchase a new flat to flat stubby hammer. He told me to stop by and when I did, he welcomed me and gave me a complete tour. I was very impressed seeing how they make their hammers. Richard explained what the lathe spindle liners were and how they were made. He was very complimentary about the employees and their skill levels. I got to pick out my new flat to flat stubby, and then we went over to the " seconds" bin. Its one of those places that builds quality tools and employs American labor. Save yourself the shipping cost, go out to Indianapolis, get a tour and pickup a great hammer or two. I want to thank you Richard for your time, and also the great deal. It was a pleasure meeting you, Ed.

At least their deadblows.
