I know years back Trusty Cook was a regular poster here and often had special colors or blemish deals. I can't find that now. Is that still going on? It seems they only stock red for some reason now as well.

I bought my Trusty Cook hammers from Cornwell tools, because TC never had what I wanted. I will say they are good hammers, but compared to Snap On hammers, you can feel the vibrations in the handles of the TC hammers. Prices were about the same.

The main difference between Snap-on and Trusty-Cook is that the handle does NOT extend into the head like the Trusty-Cook does.

Snap-on says their design makes their hammer have a more 'dead' feel than their competitor's hammer with less vibration.
