I stumbled upon this site from a customer who had heard about our company on here. Naturally, I was curious as to what was being said and so forth. Not really knowing what was considered "forum ettiquette" as a vendor type person, I wasn't sure how to interact. I wanted to help, but I didn't want to seem like a "cheap suit salesperson". :pimpflash
Yes, I do have to earn a living, but providing folks with a service/ solution/ or value is my own personal motivation that comes ahead of money. I figure that if I just be myself, help out where I can then it will all work out.:)

So, I've been in the garage door industry for over 15 years, basically working for sectional and rolling door manufactureres. Currently, I run an e-commerce site for doors. It keeps me hopping as the web is such the information highway. We have been fortunate to have weathered the economy with folks who want to do projects themselves. I am a firm believer that anyone can do what they set their minds to. However, I don' t think I'll be the demise of any good local garage door company. Its all about knowing your place and how to co-exist.

So, if I can be of assistance with any garage door needs or concerns, feel free to PM me or start a thread. If I know something that will help you, I'll pipe up. If you decide to do business with us, I hope that I will have earned it. I shoot straight because I hate the run around.

On a side note: The one thing about this forum that has REALLY surprised me is how top notch the garages are!!! If my husband gets into this site, I'm gonna have to find him a REAL sugar moma!! (I'm just SweetNLow!!) Of course, I thought that I was done decorating the house, but now...looks like I've got one more room... and I'm good with that!!

So, how do we know what your company name is? Do you have a web site? Do you actually sell and ship doors to end users nationally? What is your business and how can you help us? It's not clear to me.

I have a Clopay Steel door installed about 15years ago. Recently I purchased a 4 post lift. My problem is the door in not close enough to the ceiling when is open. Is there any way I can raise the tracks to get more clearance?
Thanks
Dave

Still learning this posting thing...
Yes, we ship garage doors nation wide & internationally. We do not install but are happy to assist in finding local reputable installers.

I can help you buy a garage door; or things to look out for, figure out what type would work best for your application... you tell me.

My door is 8' tall 10' wide with the torsion spring. No opener. There is 3' 3" above the door.
My neighbor just had his raised all they did was install longer tracks and cables. The drums and spring were reused.
Can this be done with mine?

I'm still in the planning stage -- but I'm interested in an insulated door with a remote, 10' wide, 14' tall.
