Truth ratchet

Guy on cl is selling a 1" truth ratchet set he says is Japanese. This is is one of the pictures. Looks old American made but wanted a second opinion. Price for ratchet and 6 sockets is $100 obo.

Looks like OTC, seems there was a connection IIRC

Looks quite old, perhaps it's just the sockets that are imports?

$100 seems high, though, but maybe I'm cheap

Edit: there is a set on eBay currently, asking is $259.99 not sure if it is the same set but the box looks similar.

Interesting wish I had better pictures to look at, like Sam already said the sockets might be imported from Japan.

Just from the only picture I would say the ratchet looks to be American made; Sam would you happen to have that E-bay link of the set in question?

Yes the price is on the high side for so few items unless I am missing something else; but then again you don't see many 1" sets come along all that often.

I can leave you with a few pictures of my 1/2 drive Truth Ratchet, still wish I could see more pictures of that 1" ratchet...

That is a very neat ratchet I find it interesting that the screws are on the bottom, don't appear to be flush.

Here is a Truth 1/2" sliding plug ratchet. I couldn't find anything on the Web about this. Truth ratchets on AA look like Woody's. Posted pics in this thread.

Truth is all American made. Sockets? Can't tell from that pic.
