Tekton has launched 3 trial packs for $2. I think that is a great idea and gives people who were on the fence a chance to try out their wares with very little investment. The gems are the drivers and combination wrenches. The sockets are pretty good as are the pliers made in the USA or Taiwan. I can’t recommend the Chinese made pliers but they aren’t any worse than other cheap China stuff.

If you are in the market or looking for gifts give them a try.

Tekton made good on it but i had to laugh. I reviewer on Amazon posted a picture of a Tekton combo wrench. The box end was a perfect ring inside. Not 12 point or 6 point, it was NO points. LOL.

Actually that was their new "∞-point" design.

That is pretty funny. I got a Williams USA socket the other day that was perfectly broached on both ends but the center wasn’t drilled out.

I have an old SK 13mm 1/4" drive deep, that I bought in a set that is totally unmarked. The outside was never stamped. The dealer I got it from was too far away to exchange it. As long as it is just one socket, it is the easiest one to spot.
