Lived here since 1992, house was built in 81. Now, second time in 2 years we have flooded. This really fuggin blows. Four years of remodeling gone with Harvey, we rebuilt the house in 90 days and now not sure wtf to do. Not wanting to go through this again...

This vintage money pit of mine was rebuilt and ready to race when Harvey hit. Had to do a bit of work to get it back to that point and was determined to not let anything happen to it this time. Laugh a little, cry a little. All done crying and back to gutting it all and drying it out again. Going to take some time to consider the future before rebuilding it again. Living upstairs above my home workshop here for now. :)

I see you over at Vtal MX, thought this might be you. I don't post there much, GuyB clicked me years ago, so I mainly lurk. Might be time for you to move to higher ground. Hope it all works out OK for you.

That's sickening. I think relocation is the only way to go. I'm on the verge of selling out for higher ground myself...except its for hurricanes in Florida. Insurance really doesn't make up for the hobby stuff lost.

Sorry to hear, man. I was on vacation but glad and lucky not to see high water on my security cameras. In Seabrook.

Wow, that *****!
I was another that saw it on Vital as well, didn't know there was so much crossover. Good luck with rebuilding or whatever you decide. Such a shame.

If ANY of those old Hondas need a nice warm dry place to stay this winter my garage in Florida has never flooded.

Same here, it's a steadily moving target over there with the clicks. Been out for several months myself.

I mean, the icon box or the us general will stand up to that, so not sure what you mean. I am sorry about your poor living situation though.
