Tryin to find a pry bar

I have been looking for this pry bar for quite some time now. It is a large diameter round stock pry bar. Pointed on one end and flat on the other. No real info on them from the guys at work that have them.

Any help?

What do you plan on using it for? Heavy trucks I imagine?

Heavy equipment and Tractor Repair. Two of those are the bee's knees for lining up large wheel/tire combinations of tractors, combines, and cotton pickers.

Have seen people use old combine shafts for straight pry bars. A little time on the grinder.

Sleever bar (AKA alignment bar, pinch bar, jimmy bar or connecting bar depending on where you are). Mostly found among ironworkers, millwrights and construction trades.

Just about any industrial supply place has a broad range of sizes and types.

I don't know about the availability/dealers for Gray in the US, I've mostly seen Ajax and Mayhew in the longer lengths. My personal "big" bar is a 46" Ajax that is virtually identical to the Gray you posted.

Only problem with this prybar is that its only 43" long. The biggest one on the grey tools site is 60". If i had the choice between the two i would get the 60 cause if you dont you will eventually wish you had.

I just bought the 43" one on Friday. List was 78 but I got it for 49 plus tax (CAN$ - stronger than the US$ - woop woop!)

It's very solid and isn't going to bend for sure... good purchase

That is a connecting, or sleever bar, pretty common, OTC makes a nice one as does Klien. I have a few from my Ironworker days.

if you have any farm stores near you, they usually have a selection of bars like that available. farm&fleet. tractor supply ect

We use them in the construction industry, but they're often a bit thicker than that. Very easy to come by in construction circles.
