Hello Folks,
My apologies trying to find the thread where someone built great work bench from 2x4's, filled, sanded and painted all the legs an off-white to look solid, then used hardwood flooring for the top.

Recent thread but for the life f me- cannot find it with the search function. Ready to start building some benches and wanted to copy that very impressive work and effort.

Thank you as always- daily lurker, way too infrequent contributor.

No, just two benches different lengths. OP Wood filled and sanded all the imperfections then painted an off-white. OP then tied the benches into the the 2 or 3 stairs leading into the garage. Just very well executed.

Yeah, I remember admiring his attention to detail. He stained his wooden steps to match his hardwood bench top. Filled and sanded the legs almost like an automotive paint job.
I couldn't work on that surface, but to each his own.
