Looking for a master kit of Allen/Hex Bits. Shorts, longs, ball ends, etc. I've looked around and I am not finding much of anything. Tried Snappy, Mac, OTC, etc.

Know of something that I am not aware of?

I've also done a bunch of research into comprehensive hex and torx bit socket sets.

I'm quite confident no tool company has a complete master kit as I'm not quite sure you could fit it all in one blow molded case.

Probably one of the biggest sets I've seen is the BLPTHC87 87pc. Blue Point set. It includes torx, tamperproof torx, long torx and external torx. Also includes hex up to 19mm and 3/4" with long in the smaller sizes. Probably the only box it doesn't tick is the ball hex.4d23c3040f7320b1aa958ca3c92ee269.jpg
The 80742 84pc. Gearwrench set is another comprehensive set and it includes ball hex in long length. Again not a complete master kit but a good selection of the more commonly used types of bit sockets. 50e0a91b7b7ce942e8d1ae5b0b004481.jpg
I ultimately chose the sets by Mac. I liked the arrangement in the cases and the availability to add sets as I needed them. The ability to warranty one socket easily w/ my Mac guy has been very convenient a couple times! At one point I had the bigger all hex set that included the smaller 1/4" sizes and the stubby but traded it in a couple years ago for the pictured sets.173dbd9d3abfde8d4fb36c2dfbde70b4.jpg
Eventually I plan on adding one of their long torx sets and their 1/4" drive hex bit set as pictured.a7b90095b3b41c6fb4b77162e678ef60.jpg43249d1137c0aebe0b6b0e619d39ea54.jpg

I've never seen a master set. I just buy Bondhus and Eklind for their prices and country of origin.

As far as I am aware, there isn't a "master kit" with everything.

Snap-on makes a very nice bit socket, and I have assembled a very complete kit of their bits, but they don't sell it as a one complete set.

IMO a true master set with all the sizes and lengths would be huge, expensive & doesn't really exist. Next best thing is to buy a few really good comprehensive sets and stop when your satisfied you have what you need.

Vim has a couple sets you can combine. Vim MMS64 covers regular metric and SAE hex, torx, etorx, tamperproof torx combine that with their 1/2 cut hex/torx and long ball end.

Vim has great warranty and much more durable than a lot of makers out there. Cornwell even rebrands their hex bit sockets from Vim, that should say something.

I bought the 84 piece Gearwrench set and it seems nice so far. Quite comprehensive really. Amazon has it on sale for $96 currently.
