Trying to identify old Service Station tool

I pulled this off the shelf of an old service station. I'd like to know what it is. Looks to be some sort of press or vise. It is made by Wesco who I know made a u-joint press.

Constant velocity type u-joint/double cardan joint press used on the older full size American cars?
