It's just been sitting in the garage and I never got to install it. No need for it now. As new, just dusty."

should ask him how long the rails are.. 36"? 52"?.. also - im pretty sure they are still for sale on amazon, so you can always go there for a reference.. but that is a great fence/rail set up.. i have it on my delta platinum series saw..

Although this fence is a little old, the design really hasn't changed much over the years. Looks like it has the longer rails, so I would say it is worth it, especially considering the Delta "clone" of the Biesemeyer fence runs right around $200.

That 'delta clone' is actually now the real deal as Delta purchased Beis years ago. But the earlier Beis production is higher quality. I have one of the longer 54" versions on my old Unisaw. Excellent fence.

Will be throwing POS JET fence in trash.

don't toss the old fence, someone will want it to upgrade an old craftsman or something. I agree the Biesemeyer is industry standard, but I had a jetfence once and it wasn't too bad. worlds ahead of the old clamp at both ends styles that craftsman used. I still prefer my custom t-slot unifence, however...

Good deal! Glad to hear you got it. I replaced the stock fence on my Jet cabinet saw with the Delta "copy" and have been happy ever since. The only thing I don't like is catching the end of the fence rail with my hip when I walk by.... :lol_hitti

I've had my used JET saw for maybe 5 years and never liked the fence. Actually, the whole JET saw is OK to good but not great. If I had it to do over I would have bought a better saw.

The far end of the fence was never very rigid and with very little side pressure it would "move" during/ripping.

About a year ago the fence clamp became very stuff to the point where I could not lock it even after much careful grinding on the underside....I want this thing gone.

In your basement...seriously, go look now!
A Biesemeyer fence is a thing of beauty, a JET fence is...well a decent fence but not a Biesemeyer. One day when my shop is complete I shall get a high quality table saw and upon it I shall find resting lazily, tantalizingly seductive in all her glory, a Biesemeyer 54" fence. I will have to tell the wife and she'll be upset of course but she will have to learn to live with this new open marriage.

The Beisemeyer is a fine fence.

I have a Delta UniFence that I think is better. No longer made but can be found. I found two NOS 52" UniFence rails in the back of an old wood worker supply place. Got them both for $50 each; used one and sold one for $100. Used heads are pretty easy to find; the rails not so much.

Check em out.

Congrats! Favorite fence over the years. 2 at work, 1 at home, & 2 at the last job. Only part replaced was the plexi for the pointer.

not trying to stick up for the JET, it is what it is, but the flex at the rear is really not a problem. it needs to be solid entering the blade, but a fence is usually set with some clearance at the rear to avoid kickback...

I'm about to install this and seem to have lost the original install manual. There seem to be a lack of links or pictures of this.

This is an OLD original NIB so I would like to see the old original manual.

I've had this Biesemeyer 53" fence for over 30 years. It came on a Rockwell T/A saw I bought. About 8 years ago I transferred it to my '65 Delta Unisaw. The Biesemeyer is simply the best. I've only replaced the plexiglass and the measurement tape over the years. It is rock solid.

That looks like the "Home" version, with slightly smaller dimensions everywhere. Should be around 30" max rip. I have the same fence on my old Unisaw, and it's awesome. I bought mine around 20 years ago, and it was about $200, so in today's money I'm guessing $1000000 (????)...
