Hello group,
I'm an RN but for fun im a wood worker, occasionally automotive work and just generally projoects. have been looking to upgrade my makita 5200 air compressor to be able to run air tools and not have to spend more time wait for my job site air compressor to recharge. I originally came across the IR ts4n5 at TSC. I went down to the store and was highly disappointed in the lack of quality and generally sloppy fit of the parts. I recently came across the quincy qt 7.5 single phase 220 at north 40 and the difference in quality is, well not even the same league and I love that they are made and manufactured in Alabama vs a 12 yo in India wearing flip flops (ts4n5). My question is what had been people experience and generally impression of the quincy brand? The price of the quincy wont break the bank for me and yes im aware that for a home shop I probably can get away with a more reasonably price unit.
