Needed a 36mm wrench to change out the radiator fan blade on my truck. HF didn’t have it or 1 7/16” either. Only had service wrench sets with the size I needed.
Went down the road to TSC and picked up a 1 7/16” for $14.99.
3/8” long breaker to put some extra tension on the belt, one good whack on the wrench with a 2# sledge and the nut was loose. Just enough wiggle room to get the fan/clutch assembly out with the shroud and upper hose still attached.
The Cummins is hummin' again:thumbup:

I forget about TSC as a source for tools...

FYI, O'Reilly's will rent you the proper tool for the job at no cost if you have one close. I haven't bothered to buy a seal driver kit, disc brake tool, or ball joint press since I can drive 5 minutes and pick one up.

O'Reilly's was the only parts store with the fan blade in stock. Didn't think about the wrench size when I picked up the part. Note to self....

Check the wrenches if you get the loan-a-tool. The wrenches I've tried to borrow at Advance were sprung, and wouldn't fit on the nut.

Seems HF is having more sets and less individual wrenches or sockets. Perhaps it's always been that way but maybe I just noticed it.

I have the same 1-7/16” wrench from TSC for the same reason but on jeeps. I used it a lot up until I got the pneumatic fan clutch tool...

I go to Tractor Supply every now and then. So does almost everyone I know.

I had no idea what TSC was until I googled it. No one I know has ever called it that.
