Hi guys,

Getting snowed in up in the northeast and it's got me wishing I could be out in my garage getting some work done or tinkering.

I have a 35x27x12' 3 car garage with a loft over the top. Loft ceiling (at peak) is just as high as the garage ceiling I believe.

Right now everything is open studs, and theres an open staircase inside that goes up stairs.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with spray foam for both floors and I'll wind up sheet rocking the downstairs first. Not sure what I'll do with upstairs yet.

That brings the heating dilemma. I think what I'll end up doing is getting a second propane tank to install behind the garage and running a heater off that. I see some people are fond of the "Tube heaters" I don't much about them other then the efficiency claims.

Other guys seem to really like the Mr. Heater Big Maxx style heaters.

My question is for anyone with experience with the tube heaters, are they any good?

How do I deal with upstairs? I will probably lose all my heat up there first so do I just bite the bullet and heat both floors or get something with enough BTU to fill both spaces?
