My experience is with the Diacro 3 and 4 and 6/8 benders. There are many more exotic ones out there. You need a tubing die and tubing shoe sized for your material to make that bend without collapsing the tubing. The thicker the wall the better when sourcing your material if there's a choice, although that also leads to weight. There's a pretty good .pdf that on the web somewhere called the Art of Bending by DiAcro, covers many situations.

Past that the bender is very good for rods & flat bar bending with simple tooling that's easily made on a lathe.

Are you sure on the 18mm? That's pretty large diameter. Most I have seen are 3/8-1/2"~

Ridgid has a ratcheting bender in 5/8 (358)and 3/4(368)(19mm).
They come up reasonable on eBay at times.

What's the bend radius required?
Wall thickness.

I bought this kit last year for a project, it works pretty decent. If you grab one of the discounts from Zoro it’s right at 200 shipped. My only complaint is the shoes need to be cleaned up as the little bit of casting flash debris will transfer into the tubing. But for as complete as it is, it’s worth that little extra effort

Google the guy who got the Harbor Freight bender and made and now sells custom dies. He added extensions so you can make smoother radius bends. Really cool. Don't have the link anymore.

How does Zoro sell the same Woodward kit for $50 less than Woodward?
When I worked for the Fed gov, we bought a few things from Zoro and it was always priced much higher than anywhere else.

You could take a tour on garbage day and find all the bends you require. Around here there is always a good supply of chairs, tables, hockey nets, etc being thrown out, that yield good bends for many projects.
