I bought a tubing roller for one project and can’t think of anything else to use it for.

My brother in law asked me to make a round archway for his wedding this year and this tubing roller was on sale so I bought it.

Show me your projects you’ve used a tubing roller for, I have a new tool and need to play with it!

You could make more of those wheels like on your roller, and use for a beader handwheel or the tool stand base for a sander, grinder, etc, like this.

Anything round or with curves. How about garden hose racks, garden planters, firewood rack, fence gates, bike rack, roof rack, bench or swing.

Try googling tube roller project in images and see if anything strikes you.

Jack?

He did a really beautiful roof for his patio and some other smaller things, maybe a gate?

Worth looking up.

I used my roller to bend tubing for both my deck rails and the tables. The table legs are 3/4" square tube. I made them from larger arches left over from another project. The horizontal rings were made from the same arches just bent further. The top portion of the deck rail is made from 1x1" square tube, 1-1/2x1/8" flat bent the "hard way" and 1/2" square tube bent the "diamond way."

Tried to find some pics but I have used my roller (I have a SWAG Offroad HULK) to replicate some arched fence sections, some top and bottom plates for some railings, arched supports for some tire displays for a local shop to use at car shows (incidently on that one I initially bid the job, they shopped it around and found someone who would do it cheaper who then came to me with the need to arch the 2" square tubing which I charged him to do, both for the tube and the arch... he told me who it was for as well, I still did the signs for them... )Among other in house jobs for rolling rings and semi circles, arches etc.

How do you like the SWAG Hulk? Any shortcomings?

Only complaint I have with it is that it is not open face so making tighter full circles is a problem... Sometimes but longer LARGE radius Sections is not bad at all...

you can make a circular border for a round table. Or cut the circle in quarters and use it for rounded corners on a larger table.

I was just thinking about how I would like to have a roll bender to make a bed for my daughter, but I don't know how much I'd use it for what it would cost.

A buddy made a headboard for his bed. Turned out nice since . Many times you can't find what you want. Why buy one for $100 when you can build one for $200.

I've been looking at these for awhile, I want to make an garden/yard arbor, and hopefully make a few to sell.

It seems there is either the low end imports, or the high end Swag and a few others. After watching the Swag video of this model I think it may be the best out there, just not sure I want to spend the money

Just curious, why does your photo show the bottom wheels not spaced evenly?

The bonus with swag is their selection of Rolls... They are sized to work with the Harbor Freight model too, but the HF model lacks durability... I just threw one of them away that was in my way...

I was fascinated by this homemade unit on YouTube.
Probably not able to cope with too thick wall tube but innovative all the same.

sub'd for ideas.

I've had the HF roller for a number of years and never really made anything with it except I tried to make a steering wheel out of conduit but couldn't get a full circle...

pretty much all l've ever done is straightened bent tent poles and round stock. works really good for stuff like that...most of the roller dies are still packed in the cosmoline paper they came in.

I did make a really nice hand crank for the acme adjustment screw, welded the end of a lug wrench that fit to a hand wheel...

That would be a BENDER not a ROLLER... Rollers are used for LARGE radius

Best way to find a great project for your roller is to sell it. You’ll have a great idea before the buyer pulls out of your driveway.
