Funny name for a screwdriver, so I thought a search will yield some information but alas nothing. A trademark search kept coming up with zero hits, so I am in the complete dark as they say.
For anyone out there searching the web, I would like very much to learn more about the company that made them and what type of plastic material these are, thank you for any help.

PS: These came out of a garage sale from a mechanic that passed away, so I was not able to ask him any questions about their origin.

Mystery Solved, with special thanks to GJ member S-K tool Fanatic! In another post on the GJ they are trying to id an older screwdriver and S-K said it looks like a Rosco screwdriver, so off I went looking and what I saw hit me with a left hook so to speak.

In a link to progress is fine, but it's gone on for too long. The ad reads in part screwdrivers made under the Vermont American Company for the Rosco line which VA had bought out in 1974 with the Tuffloid handle. Mystery solved...
