Picked this up on Ebay. It can test either 6 or 12 volt flashers, and it has a switch to select whether the flasher being tested is for one bulb or two. The instruction sheet lists a number of flashers by part number, including the one pictured which I also got on Ebay. The patent number on the flasher is from 1936. And it tests just fine, making one bulb flash!

I cannot find anything on line about the tester. There are no patent numbers or dates on it or inside it. It has "Newark 4, N.J." on it, which dates it post 1943, up until zip codes around 1963. Beyond that I can't find anything to date this little gizmo. It is quite solidly made and in remarkable condition. Anybody got a clue?

Happy Motoring!

Hi RTM! I can find no model number or patent number on or in the unit. The only hints appear to be the "4" in the "Newark 4, N.J.", and "E.P.Co." printed on it. I have yet to find anything.....

Thanks!
