Nabbed these on EBay.... never saw anything like them, anyone ever see them? Living in the rust belt I grab ANY style of these I find!

I have found beat the hell out of it BEFORE turning and stripping teeth to work much better for all, especially if using power tools. I think that's why most people hate these, is that they do not seat before applying torque.

Hmm those are interesting. I'm like you, I live in NW Ohio and have a whole drawer full of things like that. You can never have too many tricks up your sleeves.

nope, and I have yet to find anything on the web. Seller had all kinds of trinket ****, like a classic eBay reseller. I may email turbo socket after the weekend.
