I use a turkey baster in garage to **** out fluids etc...

However they don't last long. Is there a tool out there for garage purposes? Or a baster that lasts longer than others?

Buy them for a $1 at Dollar Tree. Use them till they wear out and recycle them. Wash, rinse, repeat. Lol

Mom used to have a glass one. That would last pretty much indefinitely as long as the fluid didn't get into the rubber bulb. Might be able to find at garage sales. 'Course you wouldn't want to drop it.

Are you married? Grab a handful of her tampons. I have a box in the garage for the purpose. Yeah, I get some looks, but you'd be amazed how well they work

Battery acid filler bulb. Simple, effective, and solvent resistant.

I used one of these for years sucking brake fluid out of master cylinders. It is solvent resistant for sure.

As for the two from mityvac, if you are going to spend that kind of money, just go a bit more and buy one of these:

Works great for changing oil in a Mercedes or the wife's MRoadster. Don't have to crawl underneath.

AND... My wife thought I was the only one. I just about choked when I read it.

Any of you live near a Meijer? I went into one tonite and they had the regular turkey basters clearanced for $0.99. I bought 5. I was thinking about buying one at full price to make flushing a brake master cylinder go quicker.
