Let me start out by saying: First World problem. Haven't had this come up before, so wondering if it is possible.
I made a joking post in a thread (Sears Deals), and apparently lots of people agreed with me (to the tune of about 45 Like/Love/Haha in under 24 hrs). Which is great, except the "Notifications" portion of the site therefore blew up, and was showing me all of these people who clicked that. While I get that going back into Notifications clears them from the "UnRead" indicator, it still became a pain to see what actual threads I was following amidst all of these.
Just like there is a way to "unfollow" a thread, is there a way to "mute" notifications related to a specific post of mine? Hopefully, it will die back soon, but until then, it is a bit crazy.
To me, this falls under "Unintended consequences", and if someone doesn't bring up an issue when it happens, they can't be mad that anyone else didn't proactively think up the crazy scenario and try to fix it beforehand. (Looking at you, CFB Overtime Rules for UGA/GT...)
