Turning Space Needed..

Hi,

This is my first post. We are looking at building a garage next year and had some questions on how much space is needed to turn in. I have attached a pic showing our initial ideas. I was hoping to get some insight on what your guys thoughts are on being able to make the turn from the driveway into the garage, with the 30' apron. Any advice is appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum from Southwestern California. I have seen vehicles grow larger over the years and we seem to be in an uncertain time I urge you to take into consideration any recommendations from your Architect.

The climate in your location will also be a consideration, here along San Diego Bay we don’t have a problem with snow, but some areas need to include room for piles snow to sit until it melts in the Spring.
