I purchase my home a few years ago and the previous owner was in the process of building a storage shed. When I acquired the home the storage shed was sinking in the mud and barely covered in tar paper.

First goal was to dig out from the mud and put on proper concrete piers. Next came straightening and wrapping up framing for doors and windows.

Then a full wrap with tyvek and synthetic felt with cap fasteners and taped seams.

Then a flash and batt for joist/wall bays, then covered with foil backed aluminum polystyrene. Then all seams get taped with foil. Then floor decking and decking to poly get a nice bead of caulk.

Trimmed out interior with a mix of pro-panel, vintage boards from a 1890's hardware store, and various items.

Floor is a cork backed, vinyl plank flooring.

The exterior is completed with Hardi siding and Anderson windows, comfort is supplied with a mini-split ac/heat pump.

Thank you FJ. That is correct, and office for my business. I had my office shared in bedroom in the house and it just was not working well. So now I can work outside the house and close the door at the end of the day. Much better.

Nice conversion. I was thinking the Liquor shelf was kinda empty and no beer fridge, but now knowing it is used for an actual business office it makes sense. I couldn't really tell what the bottles on the shelf were, but just instantly assumed alcohol on first glimpse.

Thanks yeah there are both of those things. The fridge is just not visible. I am really only interested in local bourbon, so that’s the other deal.

Looks very nice.
As tall as it is I would guess a ceiling fan would be a good idea.
A small, garage sale one, blowing up 24/365 will keep the air moving and everything mold free.

Ive thought about putting several of those style buildings on a lake lot to build a get away for family. Have one that’s a bath house for shared use, a kitchen and dining “hall” and room for gathering. Then put in smaller ones for individual bedrooms.

Have them laid out in a circular pattern a fire pit in the middle and covered walkways between them all.

That would be pretty slick in a circle. You can make a good sized loft in the top. And yes I have a small ocillating fan up there. The cool thing is the mini split will swing the air side to side or up and down. Which really gets the air moved around.

ScottsGT, I have a customer that I have sold eight sheds to and that is exactly what he did. I'm doing a quote for a guy that wants four small cabins to do Air B&B rentals. This is getting pretty popular. Great job on the office.
