For Father's Day, my sons and their families showed up at the house with gifts and love, which are deeply appreciated, of course. But I was surprised that my oldest son was carrying in a brand new plastic tool box.
Since joining Garage Journal, I've been buying a lot of tools (DUH!)
, and so I've carried home WAY too many hand tool boxes from estate sales, swap meets, yard sales, Craigslist, etc, etc. It's become something of a joke around my home, as my garage is rapidly filling with tool boxes. So why would he buy me yet another tool box?
When it was time to open gifts, my 3 year-old grandson hopped up on my lap to "help" me, and everyone was having a nice time. But I kept on wondering..."Why another tool box? The whole family constantly points out that I have too many of them now!"
Then I opened the tool box, and now I understand!
I DID need another loaded tool box! And I promise you all that this one WILL get used thoroughly!
