First I've heard of Tusk.

Most of the folks I know us Motion Pro. I have no idea where they are made, though.

I have that very blind hole bearing puller. Did the job for me. Motion Pro is good, too, but you pay for the name.

Tusk is the house brand of RockyMountainmc.com. They are AWAYS cheaper in price then Motion Pro. I have a lot of Tusk tools (because I'm broke!) I feel they have gotten a lot better in quality. Earlier years weren't as good as MP's quality, but for the last couple of years they seem to be equal. I'm not sure where either MP or Tusk are made. MP is very expensive. I just got a Tusk pro tire gage for $20 vs. the MP which can be as high as $90. Tusk is definitely NOT a HF style tool. You shouldn't have a problem with blind hole puller. Plus, Rocky Mountain has a great return policy and super fast shipping.

What`s the COO on your Tusk tools kippieland?

I haven't found anything on the tools I have. Probably on the packaging that I through out. They seem higher quality then Chinese. I am betting Taiwan. Most of my cheaper bike buys tend to be. I bought a tire iron from Cycle Gear that was Taiwan for $12.00. The one Motion Pro tool I have is made in the USA (mini chain breaker) if that is important. I have a hard time spending $90 on a tire gauge. I'm sure its dead accurate, but I can't afford that.

From my reading, Rocky Mountain is a lot like Lowes with Kobalt tools. They buy straight from a factory and skip the middle man that ***** all the money up. I do give Motion Pro mark for a bit higher quality. It depends how much money you want to spend and how often you use it. I don't use mine that much (once a year) so they are fine with me. If I used them everyday, I would go with MP.

Interesting thread cos I've been Umming and Ahhing over getting one of their crankcase separators for some time now.

I'm not sure how rocky mountains international shipping is, but I know BTOsports.com has really good rates. I read an online article off of transworld mx, where I guy from Japan ordered his riding gear from BTO because it was cheaper then buying in his country. They don't care as much as Rocky Mountain but they have bitchin service. My main three are Rocky mountain, BTO sports, and Motosports.com(though their prices have gone up drastically in the last few years.) I get spoiled by these sites since anything over a $100 is free shipping. I get pissed with Amazon and other tools sites that actually charge shipping!:lol_hitti

+1 for Tusk (Rockymountain). Their products and site have always been good to me. Just picked up a valve compressor and it worked beautifully.

For some tasks, you just need to go with the tool that does the job, and the Tusk blind hole bearing puller is a go-to tool for motorcycle mechanics everywhere.

I have a couple of their suspension tools. No complaints about the fork cap wrench and the fork seal drivers are solid, almost a copycat of the motion pro drivers.

OHHH! I like that....Sweat Minge tool company!

Honest truth here...
I already have what we call a Podging Spanner and recently I saw it described in a book as an Erection Wrench, its also made by a British company called King ****.

So, I have a 17 inch long King **** Erection Wrench.

Having a tool made by Tusk just wouldn't bother me after that.

Thats what I have. Great tools. Mine are starting to look a bit beat up but they will still work for what I use them for.
