Has anyone made a nice TV accessories shelf? Want to share some pictures of them?

I am going to mount my TV on the wall at my new place but still need a shelf to hold the cable box and maybe the sound bar. Curious what creations you guys have come up with. I am thinking of making something using some dimple dies and such. Thanks in advance.

I left the foot on the tv and made some
u shaped brackets to bolt to the foot. I changed service today and the new box is way smaller so I am going to put a piece of 26 gauge on the brackets to make a solid shelf. The TV is on a pull out z bracket.

Made a small shelf to hold the cable box and router, wanted to get it up out of reach of my toddler, so I mounted it off the wall mount holes on the back of the tv. Just a piece of 16ga with a couple flanges and short pieces of angle.

Edit: Oh, just noticed you said you were looking for something nice, don't look then.

All of my components are in my bedroom closet. Cables are ran through a chase in the wall and then an IR repeater eye is stuck to my TV. Sound bar sits below the TV. TV is recessed into an opening with a fireplace below it. Wife and I built it! Yes, inspected, yes passed!

I just bridged the gap between my upper cabinets.

Hawkerxj - that isn't bad. Very similar design as the link JRC3 provided. I think I might take the easy way and go with his link, simple, cheap and will be quick to mark off the list and move onto the next thing.

Thanks guys.

Our boxes were all small, and none needed line of sight for the remotes, so I zip-tied them to the back of the TV.

this one has everything hanging down from the TV. The top bracket that shows the upward flange on the ends also has an upward flange across in the middle to bolt to the back side of the TV (it has some threaded holes for such purpose). then the lower bracket wraps around the Satellite box and Blu-ray. Keeps everything tucked up nice and tight. Yes, home made and some krylon or similar paint.

I mounted everything behind the screen using Hideit holders from amazon, no wires showing no cable boxes around. Cannot use with line of sight devices
