What would be the easiest and cheapest way to get audio from my tv to my stereo reciever on the opposite side of my shed. Dont really want to run cables 50ft
Didnt know if there was a cheap way to send signal wirelessly but not break the bank

Is TV on antenna or cable/satellite box?
If receiver is near TV and trying to run audio just to speakers as others said proper gauge wire is best.
Otherwise you can't see a TV screen 50 ft away very well.

I use a digital optical audio cable.

Needs to be in your consideration. Even if it is Plan D (provided your devices are plumbed accordingly).

Does the receiver have Bluetooth? Does the TV have Bluetooth?

Another cheap solution would be an FM transmitter. Not one of those expensive ones for PA systems, just a cheap one like you'd use in a car (before we had bluetooth or AUX cables). Something like this:

Power it off the TV's USB (most TVs have one, if not get a USB wall-wart). Use the tuner in the receiver to pick up the signal on FM.
