42" Sceptre, attracts no dust to the screen. Suits my needs for the black friday deal I got.

I've got a 42" Vizio on an articulated mount in my garage (40'x 30'x 9') with the satellite hooked to it. I don't do much woodwork in there (hardly none, actually), the floor is epoxy, walls and ceiling are painted OSB, and the doors are closed when it's windy, above 80 degrees, or below 65 degrees. But I still have dust and a few cobwebs in the garage. Haven't had any issues in over two years, since I installed it.

I have had a tv in the garage for a few years with no problem. I didn't want another cable box so I just use it to stream through a Roku unit. I find I use it most for Pandora music. The unit goes through an old Tecniques receiver
into some wall mounted speakers.

I mounted mine on a strut trolley. When not in use it sits above the washing machine. When I use it is either tilted to the viewing area, like in the pick bellow, or all the way in the middle of the garage. It also has a sound bar attached that doubles has my garage stereo. It is blue tooth so I connect my iPhone to it.

I have a 42" Plasma in the garage, and I love it. On the other side, if I am running a machine, I have a 13" older TV just to catch what is going on.

PTCB.......great looking garage and benches. I'm sort of on the envious side at the moment :rocker:

Gravity issues at home? Looks like the tires are on the ceiling - must make that hot tub interesting!!

OK, all razzing aside... is your shop TV on a swivel? I like the idea of swapping directions with the same set, but it would be a major PITA to rearrange something when I go from the warm shop inside to the welding shop outside ... How do you work that without having to disassemble/reassemble the shop when you go from work to play?

If you look at the first picture you can see the cutout behind the TV. I bought a wrought iron decorative hanging and painted a piece of 1/4 plywood to match the garage exterior attached behind the iron. I then used a piano hinge at the top. When we are in the tub we raise the cover and swing the TV around.

first off I wouldn't be worried about leaving it in a garage. My grandfather has had a TV in his barn (workshop) since 95 and only has had 2 different tvs. He lives in WI

If you are looking at new tvs look at the smart tvs. they have a lot of the apps that a roku has. Works for me specially when I cant get a signal for local TV.
