Hi I'm looking for an idea to build a mount for a 20 inch tv to hang from my ceiling. Don't want to spend much because I want to buy an LCD later this year.If anyone has built one would love to see it.

I work at a public school and we have sent many ceiling mounted CRT tv mounts to the recyclers. Maybe you can find a used one for nearly nothing.
I welded up a 3/4" sq tubing frame with a sheet of 3/4 OSB to fit in a corner. (looks like home plate) Drilled through the tubing and screwed it to the wall. The outer corners have 3/8" all thread running through the frame with nuts underneath up and into the ceiling. In the ceiling they run through a 2x4 laying across the rafters.

Look for something like this used in Caravans, Motorhomes and Hospitals.

What a great idea for outlets, gets rid of the cords going over the top of the bench.
