I will have at least a 40 inch in mine, when I get it finished. Hung in the corner most likely. During racing season, the TV is always on the speed channel.

I went with an LG 60" plasma.

It keeps my lil ones entertained while Im "babysitting" them and trying to clean/organize the garage.

Also allows some great step-daughter time as she likes to come hang out and play PS3.

x 2. A radio and a beer fridge OK. But a TV? If I want to watch TV I watch from the comfort of my recliner in the living room.

x3 -- Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way....

I understand some guys make the garage thier "man-cave".....but wrenching for a living makes the 2 activities going together just seem wrong to me....I just need a radio while I work.....

I used to think it would be cool to have one out in the shop too, but not in the 2 car garage that serves as my workspace right now, it's not really set up just to "hang out" in...if I had room to have a couch and fridge where guys could come out and BS, then I think it would be a great addition.

Sometimes I turn the radio on, but the commercials are just so damn annoying, and what passes for "music" these days I just can't listen to. I prefer the silence, it lets me concentrate and get more done....

When we have club "garage days" at my place (I have all the tools needed) it can get crowded in there, and that can spell trouble. So, no beer and a strict limit on how many guys can be in the shop at one time on those days..... so it's just not condusive to hanging out....

Just can't see it.
I have a 26" TV/DVD on my wall, but it's really the monitor for the shop computer.
Can not imagine watching TV in the shop. When my buddies are over, we don't watch TV... If we did, it would be in front of one of the house TV's (55" LED Samsung I bought when they first come out. I think I paid more in tax than they cost today...).

Shop radio, sure, talk in the mornings, music all day, well, MP3's, radio has something called commercials... and I have been known to stream to the stereo.
Guess the 'man cave' thing is sort of past me.
