tweco 181 welder running 7018

So I have had this welder since christmas and other than building a set of stands with the mig gun I have done little to now welding with it. I don't have time since I am in school full time. So since its between the semesters I thought I would try to get some weld time in.

This thing runs 7018 rods like no other welder I have ever used before. Its amazing at how clean it runs these rods. I used the miller app on my phone to set voltage and what not, and this was the first pass with the first rod.

hahaha until you see me trying to run that thing upside down. Lets just say ugly is an understatement.

You need a lesson. here s one overhead, not very straight but smooth. 3rd one is an old rod on rusty old plate.
