Tweeking this tiny box's lid

I have this TINY little SO box.
I have a little 1/4 drive Snap On socket set in one of the newer plastic cases, and would love to ditch that, for this older box.

I thought the lid would be easy to get back in place but I was wrong.

I put a socket under the low side, and applied light pressure to the high side, to try to bring it down. This didnt work at all, if anything, now the sides down line up as good. Any tips guys?

tried twisting the lid slightly when its open? gently mind so you don't crease it, i assume the metal is pretty thick though

Maybe turn it over and twist the bottom instead of the top?
