I have a smaller garage that is 20’x20’ with a pole right smack in the middle and double 8’ doors. So, without any modifications a 2 post lift is out of the question.

I was debating on a 4 post vs Scissor lift and I feel like a scissor lift is more advantageous for my scenario of DIY maintenance and such.

After a bit of research I came across the Twin Busch TW S3 - 10E. At a lift height of around 40” and mostly clear underside, it seems very versatile. The added bonus of no need for an air supply and what seems to be solid construction has me sold.

But, I can’t help but wonder if there is a more inexpensive source compared to buying from Twin Busch directly. With freight and such it would be right around $2500. Seeing tons of lifts on alibaba/aliexpress/etc. I’m sure one of them are the ones who manufacture this lift for Twin Busch.

So, does anyone know of another source for this lift besides Twin Busch or one that is 99% the same lift???

Check out Stratus lifts. I have their 8k scissor lift. Very happy with it. Great customer service. Priced right. Comes with excellent warranty. When you call you speak directly to the owner [Suzie]

Funny you mention Stratus as I have come across them in my research. They have so many different scissor lifts that it’s tough to tell what’s what. Some do look to be the same exact lifts as Twin Busch for a couple hundred cheaper.
