Twingrip Pliers--How Are They Made?

The two parts of the pliers are forged, then machined?

One half is fat at both ends (jaw end and handle end) and skinny in the middle where it passes through the other half.

How'd they do it?

I think they pass fat part thru while hot and flexible.

They cold expand it with a machine and insert the other half by hand. Same process for the water pump pliers.

(At this point, all the lasering, RIM, tempering, teeth induction hardening, and surface coating are already completed.)
