Greetings from Salem Oregon. I have enjoyed reading many of the posts. I am in the middle of a detached garage makeover into an apartment. Floor leveling with cement on cement with elec. Radiant heat and acid stain is my next step as $ allows. I am reading all I can find on the Internet and this site. I will be laying down rigid insulation first but concerned as to the thickness requirements for the concrete. Maybe concrete on part. And gyp on some of the thinner area?
