Two A/Cs, t-stats in one room - Control problems?

I am considering installing a dual head mini split in my 1300 sq ft shop. Each indoor unit has it's own thermostat, similar to 2 complete separate A/C units. The building is all one space, no division walls.

After reading this tread on dual compressed air systems
https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=375059
I am wondering if an A/C system would have similar control issues. Yes it would work and cool the room, but will there be annoying side effects that would negate the distribution benefit of the two heads.

Let's say the units are on opposite walls. The temperature sensed by each unit will be affected by both itself and the other unit. Given the total capacity of the system is sized appropriately for the building, it would be desired (but not necessarily required) for both unit to run simultaneously.

What I do not want is for one to run by itself most all the time. I don't think it would do this but figured I would ask and see if someone has experience with this scenario. Thanks.

I can promise you that you'll have one unit working alone most of the time, but not necessarily the same one. In essence, you've got a more precisely-controlled environment because you have two units covering a whole 1300 sq ft.

Just my opinion.

Most of the time you can slave a unit off of the others control. Have you picked a brand or model yet?

I'm leaning towards Daikin. I read the manuals. I don't see a master/slave type of mode.
By default, the remotes are on the same channel so either will send commands to both (although the units are still operate 'independently').

There is a 'priority' mode that when enabled, will run only one unit at a time (what's I don't want).

There is a central controller available for up to 64 units. Not sure what it costs.

I'm not sure what programming parts are required, but just running a jumper wire from the com terminal on one head to the other make both work as one.
