I bought three of those last year at that price. They work great with no complaints what so ever.

Thanks, I also jumped in for two 7amp grinders. Hopefully a worthwhile upgrade from my dying 4.3 amp harbor freight models!

Interesting I can't seem to even get it to BOGO 50 for me in my cart let alone free

I thought the same thing when looking in the cart, You have to go to the check out screen for the 50/100% off Deal to post.

Make sure the tool.is coming directly from amazon if it is going through Amazon but shipping from another supplier the deal won't work.

Awesome got it to work picked up two grinder and two multi tools

Yep it also works on 2x multi tool kits so I went in on those too. I figure I'll just flip the surplus kit and be almost net-zero on a multi tool, which I don't have. Can't complain about that. I'm going to hold on to both grinders.

Purchased a pair of planers. I can finally plane with both hands simultaneously.

Yup, I'm in the same boat. I might just have to jump on this before I blow out my current HF and need to buy another for what I could have bought 2 of these for.

I'm just not sure if I should opt for the 6 or 7 amp versions.

I've always preferred the paddle switch. Never had to find out but art least they will quit if dropped or are trying to eat some skin

I am just the opposite, I prefer the on/off switch, much easier to use in strange positions and when running for a long time. If you actually leave the guard on it won't eat skin and the shock from dropping it will shut it down.

Grabbed 2 grinders for $27. Toasted the old Chinese one a while back, don't have $ for another Milwaukee right now but having 1 with a flap disc and 1 with a cutoff is handy

Apparently thes grinders come equipped with a "grinding" guard as opposed to a "cutting" guard? Must be out of the loop because I've never heard of such a thing.

just take the guard off, and hammer out the slight curve on the edge of the guard, put it back on and its works both ways after that...

Yes they do, I have this grinder and you can not fit a cutting wheel with the guard on, the slight curve on the edge hits the cut off wheel
