thank you. Never really planned to set up the bikes and tire rack that way, just sorta ended up that way based on the few locations available for the tire rack. I am still planning on adding a shelf or baskets on the wall the bikes used to be on..

Well, my OCDness is kicking in.. while thinking of hanging my bikes vertically under a shelf (and putting it on my floor plan sketch), I'm now wondering if I could fit the bikes under my existing wood shelves? If not, perhaps I could move them up just a bit to allow the bikes to fit? This would give me a large open space to now work with. Again, great ideas come from this forum.

And if I forgot to mention NICE Audi ? shame on me.. NICE CAR!

Thank you.

Yes, I have been concerned about the cold and heat and recently purchased a digital clock with thermometer to help keep an eye on the temps. I've been in the house for over a year now and haven't seen any temperatures that I think would damage the products. It gets a bit warm in the summer but the orientation of the garage keeps the direct sun off any of the walls or windows. I have space in the house if it were to get too cold or hot in the garage but haven't felt the need to do so (yet).

Interesting question there Crepr.. NCAudi, how hot is the hottest you guys get in the summer? Now I'm wondering about some of the detailing supplies I have in my garage.

Oh and NCAudi, love the colors in your garage.

Coincidentally, today was supposed to be the hottest day since July of last year. My outside thermometer registered just a few tenths over 100 degrees F while the garage inside temps maxed out in the high 80's. I don't recall any extremely high temps around here but the constantly high humidity makes it feel a lot hotter.

It's been awhile since I've made any changes to the garage but this spring I will be re-organizing thanks to a 120 square foot addition in the yard.

Since that photo, I've painted it gray with blue accents, matching the house.

I've already moved the lawn mowers and yard stuff out of the garage and it's made a huge improvement on the garage. I finally have enough space in the garage to fully open all the doors of the car and still walk around to detail the interior.

I'm very pleased to read this. I'm considering a proper shed installed along the side of my house. Currently, I have two Suncast "locker-style" storage compartments, but the step up to an actual shed may be in the cards. Yours is going to house a lot of stuff and that will give you way more flexibility in your garage. Looking fwd to pics when it all gets reorganized.
