Two double gangs side by side?

Alright, I've been busting my **** all evening trying to cut up a couple mature oaks I had dropped, and I searched for a couple minutes before I figured I would ask for expert help.

I want to put another double gang box directly below or directly next to my existing double gang steel box (for more receps.)

What connects the two so they are close? I figured there would be something short like a double conduit nut thinga-ma-bob but I didn't see anything at HD.

Pipe ****** and 4 nuts, use bushings. Make ****** any length desired:

Box spacers are great - for a fixed space. Pipe ******* where different spacing is needed, and somewhat adjustable.

You can get gangable boxes, and just make something bigger. Then get plates that come in pieces, and put something together to make as wide a cover as you want.

Or use a chase ****** to connect them.

The steel boxes have knockouts to use for connections. In this case the box is not being modified.
