First I've heard (sarcasm) my dealer got this deal earlier than he was suppose to, so he was selling the set for $200. He even let me swap out the ratchets for ones I didn't have for no cost.

don't think I see 'USA' stamped on those...do you think they're doing this deal just to clear out their Non-USA labeled ratchets because the new USA labeled ones are coming?

Chad - is there a way to get a catalog without seeing a dealer? I don't get to see a dealer because my tools are for my hobby stuff.

I purchased this deal off SO's website. The ratchets don't have the USA stamp on them, so it looks like they may be doing this to get rid of the non-usa stamped stock.

Ratchet's still made in USA, so I bought it anyway. Nice set. I like the tray the torx comes in, it's even magnetic! That's fancy shizzel for a DIY'er like myself

The gold seem much stronger then the regular, they say they are HD and they will take a beating compare to the regular grey ones.

If I could be sure that the ratchets were marked "USA" I'd be all over this. Yeah, I know....the whole USA thing.......

I got an Email from Snap On regarding this and I jumped all over it. I've been using Craftsman torx and while they don't seem that good I could not justify the expense. However, throw in 2 free ratchets and it's "game on".

Is Snap On going to start stamping USA again on the ratchets? I won't let the lack of USA marking bother me enough not to order this sweet deal. But if Snap On is going back to USA stamping that's truly awesome.

My old 936 says USA while my newer Dual 80's do not. Not a huge deal but I do like seeing USA stamped on the old 936.

Thanks for posting this, I can't help myself, when it comes to deal like this. I think need to practice tool discipline.

Just my opinion but the T25/T27 I have fit terrible. To be more precise they don't fit as deep as other brands so they have a tendency to cam out. I've smashed my knuckles more than a few times thanks to them. Get another brand or Snap-Ons regular (they have Stubby too for high torque). The Torx are only worth about $100 street value so...really not a great deal if you don't mind shopping on ebay anyway.

I'm going to call my dealer, if he will let me swap the ratchets for others (I will pay the difference) then I will bite otherwise I really don't need or want what it comes with.

My first thought also. Still a good deal.

Received mine last week and, no, USA is not stamped on these. I emailed SO prior to placing the order to ask if they were stamped USA. I never received a response from them but still placed the order.

Really, mine work great and I have ran in to some pretty corroded bolts.
