Found these at these pawn shop for cheap.
A 13/16 swivel spark plug socket (never seen one). And a thumb drive ratchet. Which feels quite good, :)

The ratchet is a Tri-Wing. I have a few of 'em, and my first 1990 MTS has them. I use them all the time.

Yeah. I've seen plenty of spark plug sockets. I have a set. But never seen the swivel ones.
Unfortunately my ****** GT is gone. Made it to 205,000. Had to get rid of it because there's clutch, water pump, power steering pump, and AC compressor was bad. Haha

I got my first set of Tri-wing ratchets back in the early 1980's. Made in Taiwan. Low tooth count but hefty. I even have several rebuild kits for them.

I'm kind of surprised. Around this area those are both common. I have several of each in different brands.

Mine doesn't have a COO on it. So where is it from?
They were made in Taiwan by Stanley for Craftsman. There was a big lawsuit over them and Craftsman lost. They are generally thought to be some of the worst ratchets Craftsman ever offered.

I have a few and try to never use them. They feel very cheaply made and clunky. They were common in sets made in the late 80's.

A 13/16" swivel spark plug socket can be very handy indeed, I have an SK version and it saved my knuckles several times.

I'm personally not crazy about the tri-wings I have a 1/4", it was my Dad's, and the only reason I still have it.

I believe there was some controversy on what was done here and what was not on those. I believe the kits show "made in USA".

No, I think you're referring to the later model "round heads" that have the Torx screw down the middle, not these. The latter ones were USA made by Danaher. Those get a bad rap, I have a set of them in a 1995 MTS that someone gave me, they are fine in my book if you use them on fine type work.

Actually, I believe it may have been NHT (National Hand Tool) which was a division of Stanley at the time.
